Leaders of the Dongfang City Government of Hainan Province Visited TDD

On May 8, Chen Nanlin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Dongfang City Party Committee and the Executive Vice Mayor of the Dongfang City Government, led a delegation to visit TDD. Wang Haifeng, Vice President of the Industry Development Department of IBI and Vice President of TDD, warmly welcomed the visiting leaders, and both parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the development of cross-border e-commerce, international supply chain construction, and the digital transformation of industries.

The visiting group first toured the digital economy exhibition hall, gaining in-depth understanding of the operation models of IBI and the Duoduo platforms, strategies for cross-border operations in industrial belts, and the technological applications and practical strategies of IBI SAAS.

Dongfang City, located in the southwestern part of Hainan Province, is an important node city in the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port, with a Class I national open port, Huitou Port with an annual throughput of over 10 million tons. As a key hub of the new land and sea corridor in western Hainan, Dongfang City is vigorously developing port-related industries and cross-border e-commerce, leveraging its geographical advantages and the policy benefits of the free trade port. The port has excellent conditions and has launched directs shipping lines to Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam and the Philippines, providing a natural advantage for international transshipment trade and cross-border e-commerce.

During the discussion, Chen Nanlin stated: “As an important gateway for the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, Dongfang City has exceptional port advantages and supportive open policies. The comprehensive international shipping network of Basuo Port provides a solid foundation for the development of cross-border e-commerce. TDD's professional capabilities and rich experience in the building materials and chemical cross-border e-commerce sector are highly aligned with Dongfang City's development plan to build an international supply chain hub. We hope to deepen cooperation in areas such as the construction of cross-border e-commerce industrial parks, optimization of international logistics channels, and innovation in digital trade, jointly promoting the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce in Hainan Free Trade Port.”

Wang Haifeng stated: “The unique geographical advantages, port conditions, and free trade port policies of Dongfang City provide an ideal platform for TDD to further expand into the Southeast Asian market. I hope both parties can complement each other's strengths and deepen cooperation in areas such as cross-border digital trade, international warehousing and distribution network construction, and industrial digital transformation, jointly creating a 'Belt and Road' cross-border e-commerce demonstration project.”
